Our mission

Mobile Treasures mission is to provide a safe, welcoming, and accessible mobile resource center that connects them to essential services, support, and opportunities. Through compassionate outreach, referrals, advocacy and community partnerships, we empower young people to overcome barriers, build resilience, and create pathways toward lifelong success.

Our vision

We want to live in a world where people can buy homes that match their needs rather than having to find a compromise and settle on the second-best option. That's why we take a lot of time and care in getting to know our clients from the moment they reach out to us and ask for our help.

Simone Boyd

Raised in Englewood as the eldest of two, she navigated the challenges of her environment with a steadfast determination to redefine her future. This early resilience became the catalyst for a lifelong commitment to advocacy and social change.

Driven by a passion for service, she pursued a Bachelor of Science and later earned a Master of Science in Human Services Administration. Her academic success provided the foundation for an impressive 30-year career with the Cook County Government. Throughout these three decades, she served on the front lines of the system, working extensively with inner-city youth facing systemic barriers, including those involved with DCFS and the juvenile justice system. Her tenure allowed her to navigate multiple facets of the public sector, gaining a deep, practical understanding of how to support and advocate for the most vulnerable members of our community.

Her commitment extends beyond her professional career; she founded a dedicated mentoring group that has since expanded to empower, educate, and guide young people ages 12–23. By combining her extensive institutional experience with a heart for mentorship, she continues to provide the essential support and resources young people need to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential
